Shinobu Tsurugi

Born in Sui-no-Sato to a retired Doman samurai and a fisher, Shinobu's moms packed up everything they had and fled to Limsa Lominsa after word of Garlean occupation troops settling the shorelines of the Ruby Sea above, afraid that before long, the Empire would turn some attention to Sui-no-Sato. Shinobu grew up on Vylbrand afterwards, never far from the sea. A born musician from a young age, her mother Hotaru taught her combat arts to make it to Gridania as an adventurer, to find herself a proper bard teacher, while her other mother Yuuka taught her how to cook, clean, catch dinner, and prepare her own clothes. The fall of Dalamud delayed her eventual trip to Gridania, but once things were more stable in Eorzea, she set out, if a few years late, to build her career as a musician.She's become an excellent musician, it's true, but she has yet to make it her full-time job considering how much "warrior of light" stuff gets in the way. Her confidence was ruined for quite some time, causing her to jump to other combat styles in hopes of covering up her insecurity that as an archer, she would always be too weak to save anyone. Fortunately, the need for a song of hope to save the world has helped her come to terms with every piece of herself.Gender/Pronouns: trans woman, she/her/hers

Altansarnai Dotharl

Found in a wrecked trader's caravan on the Azim Steppe as a baby. The Dotharli hunters who found him first took him to Reunion to see if any survivors of whatever happened to the caravan had reached there, but returned to Dotharl Khaa upon finding no evidence of where the lost viera baby belonged. He was presented to the then-Khatun for examination, and recognized as a Dotharli who had slightly missed the mark on their way back to the tribe, and so, the gods had endeavored to put him in the right place at the right time. Named Altansarnai (Sarnai for short) he was raised like every other warrior of the tribe, if not with some physical differences thanks to his different build. Sarnai was, and is, a quick learner who picks up combat styles easily, and can repeat any action he's seen.After he came of age, he asked for permission to leave the tribe to travel the world in hopes of finding more information about his birth relatives to respect their memory, as well as to learn more about foreign combat to bring back in hopes of helping the Dotharli thrive in the future. He's found a lot of different combat styles, but not his birth parents yet. Though truthfully, it would be fine if he never knows the truth, as long as he has something to bring home that will help his clan thrive.Gender/Pronouns: nonbinary male, indifferent to defining his own identity or pronouns, generally he/him/his

Nooriyah bin Alzadaal

The biological niece of Ahewann bin Alzadaal, Satrap of Radz-at-Han. Nooriyah's mother died when she was young, and she was raised for a while by her power-hungry, domineering father who, married in to the family, saw her existence as a path to power. Eventually, Ahewann won custody over her. While she did some healing in his care, it became clear that she would never unlearn her father's view of leadership as about social domination if she never left Radz-at-Han. Ahewann carefully armed her with her education and instructions to learn everything she can, and to not invoke her bloodline to get out of dangerous situations, and sent her abroad to study Eorzean healing magic.The instructions to avoid trying to get off easy turned into a lie by omission that lasted way too long, but she did learn what she thinks he wanted her to look for- what being a leader really means. It's her greatest regret that she never had time to tell him how much he did for her.Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her/hers
